Duties

Roughly speaking, a duty is an act which one ought to do, an act the opposite of which would be a wrong.

The duty and the act are not strictly identical.

A duty attribute to a man is to claim that he ought to perform a certain act.

The duties of a man he obliges to others by virtue of his position or situation.

The employee has a duty to serve his authority.

The student has a duty to obey and respect to his teacher.

Some duties are to do something and some are not to do something.

There are deference between duty and obligation. Obligation that results from making a promise.

There are two kinda pf duties-moral and legal.
